Jim began his landscape irrigation business in New Braunfels in 1964 and continues to be active in the business today doing consulting, designing, sales and service. The Pentecost Sprinkler Service business grew to encompass all of central Texas and still operates in much of the I-35 corridor. Jim has installed many central, north, and west Texas irrigation systems on golf courses, football fields, baseball and soccer complexes as well large commercial and residential sites. Pentecost Sprinkler Service was sold in 1990, but Jim continues to work with the new owner throughout the central Texas area.

Living in the central Texas area all of his life, Jim fully understands the importance and the need for water conservation in this rapidly growing region of Texas.

Jim's business was developed on integrity with his motto being "Quality First". Ninety-nine percent of Pentecost Sprinkler's business comes through referrals from satisfied customers. Jim's desire is to impart this same vision to the students in his irrigation classes. His teaching skills and 44 years work experience and on-the-job knowledge make Jim an able and entertaining instructor for the 40-hour TCEQ Landscape Irrigator Basic Training Course.

As an approved provider, Jim offers the required TCEQ course in the Austin and San Antonio area. Using the teaching skills and knowledge of the industry, Jim covers the Basic Training Course Curriculum as recommended by TCEQ.

Although we cannot guarantee a passing grade on the irrigator's exam, we do offer the guarantee that anyone who fails a portion of the exam may return as an alumni and retake that portion, or even the whole course again, within one year at no additional charge.
